Iran's Int’l Art Festival of Resistance picks new secretary

Iran's International Art Festival of Resistance - Resistart - has chosen Masoud Nejabati as the new secretary.

The International Art Festival of Resistance hosts and awards works, including paintings, posters, sculptures, cartoons and caricatures that focus on the resistance movement.

The festival contains the artworks of contemporary artists on resistance. Artists are invited to submit their artworks based upon the designated rules in the recall.

The main goal of the event is to disseminate the culture of resistance and values of Islamic Revolution and Holly Defense and to focus on culture of persistence in visual arts by:

- Creating, presenting and displaying the last visual artworks and achievements of contemporary artists of Iran and the world on Resistance.

- Evaluating, criticizing and analyzing the different aspects in Art of Resistance.

- Focusing on culture of resistance and persistence in contemporary awakening arts.

- Contriving for cultural interactions among creative artists on culture and art of resistance in Iran and other countries particularly those from Islamic world.

- Contriving for establishment of an international center on Art of Resistance.

The 5th edition of the festival is scheduled to be held on February, 2018.
